Behavior Management Expectations, Beginning of the Year, Back to School
Teaching expectations is SO important. This resource is a fun, collaborative approach to review acceptable and unacceptable behaviors all over the school.
It includes 4 fictional character stories with a combination of positive and negative behaviors. The story cards are in both color and b&w. Also, you will find a reflection page for each behavior category.
These behavior stories can be used as a whole group to initiate a conversation about expectations and improving behavior. You could have students work in small groups to discuss and reflect. You could also assign each student a story and have them share with the class the positive and negative behaviors of the student. However you use them, they are a wonderful resource--especially for the beginning of the year--to start those conversations.
