2nd Grade ELA Math Pacing Guide Curriculum Map Editable Template Bundle

The year is broken down into 32 weeks and skills are organized into 4 week segments. There are a few segments which include additional 'flex' days for reviewing/re-teaching.

Please note that a few of the standards are incorporated year long (such as 2.NBT.9 Explain why addition and subtraction strategies work, using place value and the properties of operations) and therefore are not specifically included within a 4 week segment.

Q: Are all of the standards included?
A: Please note that a few of the standards are incorporated year long (such as 2.NBT.9 Explain why addition and subtraction strategies work, using place value and the properties of operations) and therefore are not specifically included within a 4 week segment.
Q: How many weeks does this pacing guide cover?
A: The pacing guide covers 36 weeks. Five weeks are "flex weeks" including the first and last weeks of school. The second to last week is a flex week as well as weeks 12 and 24. This is to account for shortened weeks, holidays, assemblies, field trips, reteaching/review and assessment.
