Print double-sided, laminate and attach Velcro dot! Now students have a name tag that is easily moved around (for flexible seating!) or to use as a reference when working around the room. No more mess scraping off taped down name tags at the end of the year!
Q: How do you print the name tags?
A: I use a standard printer with Astrobrights paper (optional) and print doubled-sided flipping on the short side. Then, I laminate for durability!
Q: Do students pick at them?
A: Is the sky blue? Of course, you have some students that can't resist. But, since they are only attached by a small dot, there is WAY LESS to pick at! Also, since they are inexpensive, it's easy to replace mid-year. I also love the opportunity to change up what is on the name tags to align with what we are learning!
Q: What font do you use?
A: I think that KG Primary Penmanship (which is free for personal use on TpT) works best to fit the lines and looks super neat!
I would LOVE to hear your ideas/needs for more options! Please leave me a Q&A with any ideas and I will add them soon!
Thanks!
